Actions

There are two types of Actions (User-defined Actions and Action Rules). Each of these sections allows the Actions Module to control the data in the SQL Server database, and a workflow component listing all actions/jobs related to each user.

Actions are tasks that can be assigned to a user of CMSI or that can update the database via pre-written stored procedures or .NET code called Action Methods. They can be created from Action Rules or directly by a user as a User-defined Action. Users of CMSI can view the actions they have created or that have been assigned to them in the Action List.

Both Action Rules and Action Listitems can be found under the menu option:  View / Components / Actions
