LibraryLink Setup

Librarylink connects to documents and images in the LibraryLink database and optionally a SharePoint instance. LibraryLink must be installed on the local machine and licensed to provide this functionality.

This page relates to LibraryLink 4.  See LibraryLink 5 manual for details of setting up this version

Open LibraryLink and enter the configuration menu, select the 'Database' tab and then click the 'Use Separate link database' option. This tells LibraryLink to store the links in your CMSi database and not the local file database that ships with the LibraryLink product:

Select the 'Backend' tab and fill in the details for your CMSi database.

Finally, use the 'Template Links' tab to construct requests from any web or file-based resource where a url has a predictable form.  See the Template Links page for more information on how to set these up.
