User-defined Actions

Creating a User-defined Action

User-defined Actions are actions created by a user when viewing a data form by clicking the create action button.

A user-defined action remains associated with a particular record and can be assigned to other users of the system. For example, a user may want to assign an action to telephone a particular contact. They can do this by opening the contact form for that contact, clicking Create Action, setting the action type and description, and then assigning it to another user.
