Why am I getting a HTTP Error: User Denied Geolocation?
This warning message is due to the web browsers permissions, likely caused by clicking 'block' when first asked by the browser to access the users location (as many people instinctively do).
To fix this, go to your browser settings:
- Microsoft Edge: Settings > Cookies and Site Permissions > All Permissions > Location
- Google Chrome: Settings > Privacy and Security > Site Settings > Location
Why are some sites from CMSi Desktop not appearing in CMSi Web?
In CMSi Web there is the concept of “My Sites” that doesn’t exist in CMSi Desktop. It allows you to select a sub selection of sites which can then be quickly viewed in the Map, Search etc. By default, “My Sites” contains all your User Interest Group (UIG) sites. This changes as soon as you add a site to your “My Sites” list.
What you see on the map in CMSi Web can be controlled using the Layers menu. You can flick between which selection of sites you are seeing using the tabs at the top of the menu:
You can add sites to your “My Sites” by navigating to the Dashboard and selecting the green plus button in the My Sites section:
If you want to reset your “My Sites” so that it contains all your UIG sites again, navigate to the Dashboard and select the “Reset” button in the My Sites section:
